I installed Vista when it first came out. I would edit my photos and save them, just like I have always done, no problem. Then I would discover that when I went back to look at them, the files would be gone. I would have to do a search and recover them. It seems that no one else ever had this problem. I disabled some of Vista's security stuff and have not had problems since. As a matter of fact, it has been the most stable system ever for the past couple of years.
I keep hearing people saying how much they hate Vista, and how much trouble they have with it. Just exactly what kind of problems are people having??

Oh, the internet is rife with complaints about Vista. Clearly part of the hate was a result of how much different it was than XP. Another part was the implementation of UAC, which seemed designed primarily to annoy. And then, too, it was just slower than XP. One could go on and on.

We currently have 3 computers running, and all of them are XP. I'm hoping we don't have to change systems. XP is the first stable and dependable Windows system we've had and I figure if it ain't broke, I don't want to fix it.
