Default HTC Incredible

My new HTC Incredible was delivered last evening and I switched service over from my Blackberry today.

My first impression is that it is, in a word incredible. Beautiful clear screen very responsive (faster than my Blackberry Curve) and I do like the touch screen better than the tiny thumbwheel. For the same price, the Verizon rep tried to sell me on the Droid X, but that device was much bigger than anything I wanted to carry around.

Setup and migrating the service was quick and easy.
Some users have reported problems connecting the Bluetooth to the handsfree connection in their cars, but my new Audi and the phone discovered each other instantly and have maintained the pairing every time I used them together.

I downloaded the HTC Sync program and it correctly imported all my Outlook contacts and calendar entries.

At home, the with WiFi enabled, after initially entering my router security key in setup, it connects to my wireless network. For network connectivity, you can use WiFi or the Verizon 3G data network, but you cannot be connected to both at the same time.

My initial results are favorable and so far I'm happy with the switch. I will add more applications this weekend and put it through it's paces, then post my findings.

It's one of the new HTC Droid phones - here's a link:

CNET TV gave it a pretty good review.

I just dropped my BB Curve as well for an iPhone. Can't really compare the thumbwheel to these touchscreens, two totally diffetrent technologies. I think the new BB Torch may be on par with these models. Looks like your model is pretty cool and connectivity is what it should be.

I just wish I would have made the switch along time ago, the touch screens are so my easier and user friendly.
