Thought I was doing a good thing to "upgrade" from CS3 to CS5. What I have found is--it is like starting all over again.
First thing I would like to do is simply have the channel values show in the histogram display. It was so nice to simply run the cursor over an area and know what the value of a specific channel was by reading the value. I have spent several hours attempting to find out how to have those numbers displayed in some place other than ACR. Does someone have an idea, or am I the only dumb one? __________________

F8 should display Info. You can go to Window and select Info and that should bring up the info pallet.

Now why in the heck did that work now? I had done everything but punch my F8 key through the keyboard, and the window would not appear. You tell me to try it and it worked! Are you some kind of wizard? Thanks.

Not sure. I had the info palette with all my other tools on my 2nd monitor so just looked to see what the shortcut was to show it. Glad it worked.
