My best friend died of cancer and left me most of his mechanics tools. This included an old Sears, Craftsman, tool chest-upper, lower and side box. This allowed me to donate my two sets of Home Depot roll-aways to my son and son-in-law. My best ever acquisitions have been my air compressor, along with assorted tools, and my MIG welder. Also, I couldn't get by without my good floor jack. Screw that bottlejack crap.
My son is in an automotive tech course and I just had him make me a couple of bearing race drivers for my VW project. Finding tools to fit some of these applications is getting hard. BTW, everytime the wife gets me started on one of her household projects, I take that opportunity to obtain any special tools as I see fit, to get the job done. __________________

I put the buzz in Sanity Clauses ear about maybe a 20 ton shop press. . . today I noticed that my Harbor Freight catalog is missing.
