Default Audi Q5

Since I started the first discussion of auto technology, I took some quick pictures this morning of the vehicle.

Second shot is the MMI (Multi-Media Interface Console. All functions can be controlled by the buttons and joystick, or by voice command.

Third shot is the key. The entire key fob inserts into the dash, and will reset seat and mirror positions and temperature to my preferences if they had be reset by another driver.

Wow, very cool. Clearly cars have a lot to offer now that mine does not! Still, I'm very happy that my old corolla continues to get me from point A to point B. My goal is keeping the distance between point A and B down to a minumum.

Yes JD, my last ride got me from point "A" to point "B" also albiet in somewhat of a hurry. Like 9.5 sec. at 156 mph. 1954 Henry J with a 308 c.i. Chevy small block.

My baby. It is a 1980 Porsche 911SC. I bought it new 30 years ago and it has 112,000 miles on it. The Porsche is a Targa and the driver in the pic is my wife. She used to have a fairly pristine Porsche 928 S but unfortunately, the front end of it ended up in the rear fenders of a pick up. Her fault and now her baby is gone. We did find a mint, and I do mean mint, 1994 Olds Cutlass Supreme Convertible for her with 40,000 miles. She loves it since it is red also.
Also have a Jeep Liberty 4wd Sport which is used for those vacations off road.

Mel

Second shot is the interior of this old baby.

Default 1994 Dakota

My soon (I hope) to be replaced 1994 Dodge Dakota, V6, 4X4, 5sp manual, Sony CD player, 65 watt vhf transciever, 10.5 ton hydraulic winch. It's got 260,000 miles with NO engine work at all!
