Question

Kindles sound good for people who like to read, but in my case I have downloaded dozens of free classic books from places like Gutenberg I would like to read. I would like to be able to use an SD card, copy the books to that, and put that in an eBook reader just as I can into a laptop PC. I understand that the Kindle II has no SD slot! The original did. Doesn't impress me. So I continue using my old PDA, my TRGpro, which has a CF slot in back, and allows me to read novels quite nicely, as long as I just keep replacing AAA batteries as needed. It can handle a 2 GB CF card, room enough for many novels as well as text notes I keep for my own use. All this method requires is the appropriate card readers.
